Meet Dr. Isabel Griffith BScH DC CSCS

 

      Dr. Isabel obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2008, following completion of an honours degree from the University of Guelph, in Biological Sciences.

 

       She maintains a professional portfolio that keeps her educated on the latest techniques and technologies, to offer her patients a spectrum of treatment options and to ensure the best quality of care.

 

      She is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA). She has an extensive education in strength and condition, having obtained her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In conjunction with her Chiropractic education, she uses this expertise to educate her patients and design patient-centered, individualized programs of care, to fit each patient’s individual needs.

    

       Dr. Isabel uses a variety of techniques to treat the root cause of her patient’s injury – including traditional Chiropractic adjustments, instrument assisted adjustments, Kinesio Taping, Cranial Therapy, Acupuncture, Active Release Technique (ART), physical therapy and rehabilitative exercise.

 

       As the mother of 3 young children, Dr. Isabel’s greatest passion is working with mothers and their children, with a focus on Women's health and prenatal /postpartum Chiropractic care. She has been featured on Rogers Television, published in various health and parenting magazines, and is a regular contributor to blogs on various issues surrounding women’s health.
